See Assistive Tech in Action

At Moon Hall School, assistive technology is transforming learning for students with dyslexia. From speech-to-text tools to reading pens, these solutions are helping students gain independence, confidence, and success.

We were recently invited to Moon Hall School's AT Forum, where students demonstrated first-hand how assistive technology is helping them succeed in the classroom. Educators shared valuable insights on how they’re integrating Assistive Technology to support diverse learning styles, and parents saw the real impact these tools can have on their children’s confidence and success.

Real Impact, Real Stories

Event Highlights

Independence

Students showcased how tools like reading pens and speech-to-text software are empowering them to work more independently. These technologies allow them to access learning materials without relying on constant support, giving them the freedom to express themselves and engage with their education on their terms.

SENCo Perspectives

Educators shared practical strategies for implementing assistive technology in the classroom. From customising digital tools to suit individual learning needs to incorporating Assistive Technology into daily lessons, SENCos highlighted how these solutions are helping students overcome barriers to learning.

Hands-On Experience

One of the most impactful aspects of the event was the opportunity for attendees to try out assistive technology themselves. Parents, educators, and students explored different tools, discovering first-hand how they can make learning more accessible and efficient.
